The members down here from Racine L-321 lost 2 good retriees over the last week, Cecil Wood & Jim Varley, our thoughts go out to their families and friends. Recently, the RPFFW sponsered its 2nd annual golf-outing, in Baraboo, crowd was medium in size, but IF you missed it, too bad, so sad, sign up for next years event NOW. Contact PR Director Tom Healy for the info, he does a great job, as well as the Board who helped out and Sally Bosanko and member Rich Bosanko and his wife to be as of 7-24-09, Maggie Meeks, Thanks to All.. We did decide to have the Fall meeting in Madison again this year at the Old Jingles on John Nolan Drive, New owners and nicely remodeled, We hope you will come up for a day of friendship and important info regarding pension issues, health care updates and programs that are out-there!! The PFFW had its recent Convention, Mike Woodzicka is the new State President, Our Thanks to him and his Board and officers for finally making the RPFFW feel welcome again at their events. It was great to see new faces in the crowd as well as the ones who remember the 'KAMAKAZEE-KID' and his famous jokes! Our Congratulations to newly elected Board members, and have offered our help to them whenever an issue important to ALL of us is at stake.. So For Now...Happy Summer............MR. BOZ' |
