Brothers and Sisters of the RPFFW;
Last week a true friend of the Fire service and a BIG Supporter of the Wis. Alliance for Fire Safety,was seriuosly injured in an ATV accident outside of the Wausau area. His name is Tom Jones, He is a Battalion Chief with the Milw. Fire Dept. due to retire this month with 30+ yrs. of loyalty. He is presently at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, 333 Pine Ridge Blvd. Wausau 54401-4187. His wife Sue has been there 24 hrs. a day, Tom is still not awake and responsive, BUT, the Medical Staff, has high hopes for a Recovery,BUT that will take time and lots of therapy. The reason I am sending this out is in hopes that YOU would take a few minutes to send a ''FUNNY-CARD'', and let Tom and Sue know they are BOTH in our thoughts and prayers til Tom gets home well and puts in his ''I'M RETIRED NOTICE''!! Their son is on the job in Milwaukee and the response has been well from MFD, I would just ask that anyway to let each and every Firefighter know about this and send them some well-wishin' would help them alot! Here's hoping also....YOU ARE GETTING A 4-SOME READY FOR OUR 2nd ANNUALGOLF OUTING IN BARABOO ON JUNE 29th THANKS EVERYONE...HAPPY SUMMER......MR. BOZ' State President |
