To the Brothers and Sisters of the PFFW

This past year has been devastating for all of labor in Wisconsin, the likes of something our membership wished would never occur in Wisconsin or America. This 'radical-rookie' and his group of elected thugs, knew exactly what they were doing and knew that in the near future, their actions have and will cause lay-offs, cutbacks etc and pin friend against friend, while the destruction across Wisconsin continues.

They told everyone the firefighters were exempt from this re-tooling in Wisconsin, but smarter leaders on our side said that's not true.

Joe Conway jr. and Madison FF's L-311 drew a 'labor-line' in the sand and said "No,the firefighters are going to march with labor, We are involved", and so the movement began.

PFFW State Pres. Mitchell along with PFFW Board members organized their PFFW local members and families and friends along with the RPFFW members and some FF's from L-215, marched day after day, supporting labor and showed Wisconsin where firefighters stood and what they believe in ....fairness and truth!

In the 10 marches I was involved in, I never saw any other persons who were interested in running for the 5th District VP position, join us in the biggest labor battle, Wisconsinites have ever witnessed, that would have shown us their real interests in our struggle.

Joe Conway jr. represents true Union beliefs, he has always been fair, he does not divide in order to conquer, and has proven himself worthy of the RPFFW's trust and support for re-election,and we would say, if you add up all of Brother Conway's plus's, you will choose to 'Go with Joe' and re-elect him as your IAFF 5th District VP in 2012, as a way of saying Thanks for a job well done. Joe has also kept the Retirees informed of issues involving us and the IAFF and other states facing our concerns.
