Members

Another year gone by, man they sure go by quickly don't they? Its getting to the point of why take down the Christmas tree I'll only have to put it up again in a little while.

To all of the members who have already sent in your 2012 dues - Thank You. T o those who have not you will find a second renewal notice with this mailing. Please get it back to me as soon as you can and for those of you who are over 80 I still need you to get a form back to me. Dues were due January 1st.

Remember to let me know if you are aware of one of our members passing away. I am sure we lose members and their names are never turned in for our annual memorial at our September Conference.

This year was not a good year (once again) for the economy and our pension. The DOW closed up 5.5% but I don't believe that is enough for a variable increase and I know its no where close to what was needed to prevent another year of a negative result in the core account.

As you may have read Gov. Walker has required the ETF to come out with a study as to what the effects would be to go from a Defined Benefit plan to a Defined Contribution Plan for retirees. Joe Stroh's letter explains it a bit deeper.

As most of you recall I've had some computer issues in the past and recently had a second replacement hard drive installed but I do back up everything now.

Well yesterday I had a problem so I called the 11 year old over from next door, who knows everything about computers and asked him to help me out.

He clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem.

As he was walking away, I asked him, 'So what was the wrong'? He replied, it was an ID ten t error'.

I didn't want to appear stupid, but still wanted to know so I asked him 'What is an ID 10 t error so I can fix it myself next time.

He grinned 'Haven't you heard of the ID ten t errors before'?

'No', I replied.

'Write it down' he said and you'll figure it out.

ID10T - I used to like the kid now he's a shit head.

Take Care
